Soulshine Yogi Kids Yoga Mat – A Mat Made with Love, Art, and Purpose
From the very beginning, I noticed my little one’s love for “making shapes” alongside me during my yoga practice. At just 18 months, she’s already mastering downward dog, tree pose, triangle pose, and even flying in acro yoga! I started laying my mat out each morning, and together we’d flow through our daily ritual, laughing and learning. One day, during a trip to Bali, I thought to myself: She needs her own mat.
But I couldn’t find anything I trusted in terms of quality, material, or design—so I created it. The Soulshine Yogi Kids Yoga Mat was born out of my desire to provide my child with a mat that is not only eco-friendly and non-toxic but also designed with love and intention.
Each mat is crafted from 100% natural tree rubber and a soft microfibre suede top, ensuring it’s safe for kids and the planet.
The Design:
The background blue of the mat is a painting of mine, chosen for its connection to art therapy, which promotes relaxation and ease in children. The two carefully placed stars at the foot end serve as cues for the direction of the feet in downward dog, while the line down the middle helps guide balance. The moon and stars at the top act as a cue for head positioning during practice.
These thoughtful elements, created with love, are designed to guide your child’s practice with ease and joy—allowing them to flow with their highest potential.
